After seeing Janhvi's namein the star cast, netizens called him out for promoting nepotism as Janhvi was only one movie old. But, as usual, the filmmaker a strong comeback. Not only that, Karan Johar was recently celebrating 12 years of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. The filmmaker, Farah Khan, Preity Zinta - all of them shared photographs from the filming days and got nostalgic. Preity shared a lovely candid photograph of her with Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. Then, someone replied saying that he has been promoting extramarital affairs. In true Karan Johar fashion, he responded by saying, "Hello uninformed person! You cannot promote something that is already a big hit!"

Karan Johar is currently busy producing his next film Simmba with Rohit Shetty. The film, which stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, is slated to release on December 28, 2018.
