From backing one of the highest grossers of the year to being the judge of a popular dance reality show, 2022 was an eventful year for filmmaker Karan Johar. He was part of a bunch of known projects this year. And, now, as the year the curtains are almost down for 2022, KJo has shared a heartfelt video to call it a wrap!

On the occasion of Christmas, Karan Johar took to his social media handle and shared a special video to express gratitude on the year gone by. The montage video featured BTS shots of Koffee With Karan, Brahmāstra promotions, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Karan's upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. His twins Yash and Roohi also appeared in the video.

Celebs like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Farah Khan, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sara Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and others were also featured in the video. Instagramming the post, the Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham director wrote, “Calling it an almost wrap on 2022 and what a year it has been! Grateful,” followed by a purple heart and praying hand emojis.

In no time, fans started showering love for him in the comments section, while a section of them extended Christmas wishes. “Stay blessed always,” wrote a user, while another commented, “The year flew by.”

Coming to the professional front, the 50-year-old filmmaker is all set to make his directorial comeback with Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. His last directorial venture, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, was released in 2016. The forthcoming Bollywood film will also feature Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

It was expected to release in February of next year, however, in November, the makers announced its release date, which is April 28, 2023.
