The Sri Lankan song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ that became a rage on Instagram, now has its own Hindi version. The Sri Lankan singer Yohani, in fact, is currently in the city promoting the song and her work. Her song ‘Manike’ was adapted in Bollywood by the makers of the film Thank God. The song now features Nora Fatehi and Sidharth Malhotra as they groove sexily to the popular number. On the other hand, the singer is busy touring across the country as a part of the song promotions. She recently even visited the sets of the Kapil Sharma Show.
As a confirmation of her presence, Kapil Sharma shared a collage video of Yohani holding a guitar and playing the popular song ‘Manike’. The comedian-actor also posted on the caption saying, Guess the singer coming next week on #thekapilsharmashow ?? #tkss #manikemagehithe” Coming to the remake, the song was sung by Yohani herself and it was remixed by Tanishk Bagchi.

On the other hand, Yohani too shared photos from the sets of the show saying, “Had an awesome evening with these amazing artists at The @kapilsharma show #TKSS. Thank you for having me. Don’t miss the episode, coming Diwali Weekend!”

The film in question, Thank God, features Ajay Devgn as the bookkeeper of heaven, Chitragupt whereas Sidharth Malhotra is expected to play the role of a common man who dies at a young age. Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of the latter’s wife. It marks the third association of Sidharth and Rakul after Aiyaary and Marjaavaan. The film, directed by Indra Kumar, is expected to release on October 25, Tuesday since it is Diwali release.
