As October 5 marks Vijayadashami, people across India celebrate the occasion. Meanwhile, there is a ritual of worshipping weapons on this day too. Being part of one, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also practised Shastra Poojan at her home.

Taking to her verified social media handle, the Queen actress shared some inside pictures of her Vijay Dashmi celebration and Shastra Poojan. In the images, shared on her Instagram story, the actress can be seen offering her prayers. Meanwhile, the snaps also featured a few soldiers, and some rifles stacked on a table. In the photos, Ranaut can be seen sporting a purple kurta teamed up with pink salwar and yellow dupatta.

Captioning one of the images, the Manikarnika actress wrote, “A few pictures from the Shastra Puja at home today on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi.” Meanwhile, the caption of another photo with soldiers read, “Jo desh ki raksha karte hain, ishwar unki raksha karein (I pray for the safety of those who protect the country).”

Sharing her wishes, the Simran actress further added, “Dharm se aap koi bhi ho lekin karm se Kshatriya hain. Sabko Vijay Dashmi pe sirf ek sandesh, Vijayi Bhava (Whoever you may be by your religion, you are all Kshatriyas due to the work you do. My message to all on Vijay Dashmi: May you always be victorious).”

Talking about her professional front, the 35-year-old actress was last seen in Dhaakad. The high-octane action film performed poorly at the box office. She will be next seen playing the late Indian politician Indira Gandhi in Emergency.
