Jiya Shankar, who was the recent contestant to be eliminated from the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, decided to do something special for herself after she came out of the house. The actress gifted herself a swanky new pair of wheels and was also seen posing with the paparazzi as she unveiled the car. Her latest automobile is a plush black BMW X5 model, a premium SUV which falls anywhere between the range of Rs. 93 lakhs to Rs. 1.3 crores, based on its features.

An excited Jiya Shankar was recently seen unveiling the new car at the showroom amid paparazzi and as a part of the Indian tradition, she kicked off the ritual by breaking the coconut before it for good luck. After the video was posted on social media, many of her fans dropped heart emojis and showered love on the actress for her new achievement.

Jiya Shankar entered Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 a few months ago and was among the top six finalists. The actress was eliminated last week after being nominated along with influencers Manisha Rani and Elvish Yadav. Her journey in Bigg Boss was loved by many and many of them were also seen talking about her cute chemistry with Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan.

On the other hand, coming to her professional commitments, the actress, who is known for television shows like Meri Hanikarak Biwi, Kaatelal & Sons, Pishachini, among others, has also featured in films. The actress made her South debut way back in 2013 with the Telugu film Entha Andanga Unnave whereas she also made her Marathi debut in 2022 with the Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh starrer blockbuster romantic drama Ved.
