Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan is winning hearts with his latest talk show, The Invincibles. The actor launched his talk show with his father and famous writer Salim Khan being the first guest. Well, the next guest to take the audience for a nostalgia trip is Javed Akhtar in the six-part chat series, and the promo of the same is already out. Among many others, the promo gives a glimpse of the veteran writer speaking about his married life with actress Shabana Azmi.

On Thursday, Arbaaz took to his verified social media handle and shared the promo video of the second episode of The Invincibles. In the two-minute-fifty-two-second-long video, Javed Akhtar shared a bunch of anecdotes from his professional life. However, amid this, host Arbaaz asked him to share his thoughts on the recipe for a successful marriage.

In his response, the 78-year-old lyricist-writer said, “Living with an independent strong-minded woman is not a bed of roses. Kahin aap ko push bhi karna padega, magar push aap equal ko kar rahe hain (sometimes you have to push her, but you should always remember that she is your equal).”

For the unversed, Javed was earlier married to screenwriter Honey Irani and shares two children with her – actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and filmmaker Zoya. Later, in 1984, he tied the knot with Shabana.

Coming back to the promo of The Invincibles’ second episode, as mentioned above, Javed also extensively talks about his professional life. While recalling that he and his former partner Salim Khan gave two hits in 1978, Trishul and Don. However, they did not get any film after that as no big producer was willing to touch them for “some” reason. The episode will be released tomorrow, that is February 10.
