The trailer for Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starrer Jatt & Juliet 3 was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai on June 11, and it has sent fans into a frenzy. The trailer delivers a potent mix of elements that promise a truly entertaining experience. We can expect laugh-out-loud moments, a rekindled romance between the iconic duo of Diljit and Neeru, and some surprising twists that will keep audiences guessing.

The trailer launch also saw Diljit Dosanjh open up about the film's journey. Riding high on the success of his recent projects, including Amar Singh Chamkila and his ongoing world tour, Diljit was all praise for Neeru and called her his ‘lucky charm’. The actress also praised the singer-actor who has reached newer heights in both acting and music fields.

The event marked a special reunion for the duo, as Diljit revealed that his first ever shot on camera was alongside Neeru in the 2009 film Mel Karade Rabba. Speaking in Punjabi, Diljit expressed his gratitude to Neeru, crediting her for inspiring him and opening doors for his career. He recalled being at a show in Jalandhar when a friend offered him a small role in the film. Excited about the prospect of working with Neeru Bajwa and Jimmy Shergill, a young Diljit readily agreed, even if it meant just a single scene. That film set also held another first for Diljit - his first encounter with a vanity van.

Neeru Bajwa, visibly touched by Diljit's kind words, returned the favour with her own praise. She lauded Diljit for elevating the status of Punjabis on a global scale and inspiring generations, particularly the youth who have faced racism. Looking elegant in a pink crop top and matching pants, Neeru spoke of her immense pride in Diljit's accomplishments. “It's a wonderful feeling,” Neeru said. “Like every other Punjabi, I adore this man, and I am immensely proud of him. The film is magical.”

She went on to elaborate, referencing Diljit's recent Dil-luminati North America Tour. “Working with Diljit at this stage, seeing what he has done, and what he is doing for all of us, in the world he has put us up there,” she said. “What he has done for every generation, kids who have faced racism... I went to his show, and what I felt there I can't tell you what feeling it was." Neeru concluded by expressing her admiration for Diljit's growth, calling him a "rockstar."

Jatt and Juliet 3 brings Diljit and Neeru back together as Fateh and Pooja. The film also features Jasmin Bajwa, Rana Ranbir, BN Sharma, and several other Punjabi actors. Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the movie is slated for release on June 27. The production team comprises Balvinder Singh, Dinesh Auluck, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Singh Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh himself.
