First in line is the web show The Broken News 2, the second installment of the popular drama set against the backdrop of a news agency. Ahlawat’s portrayal in the first season garnered widespread acclaim as he shared the screen with the talented Sonali Bendre and Shriya Pilgaonkar in this gripping drama helmed by director Vinay Waikul.

Next on Ahlawat’s roster is Maharaj, which was announced by Netflix along with other interesting projects slated for release in 2024, last month. With Ahlawat headlining the cast, alongside Junaid Khan and Sharvari Wagh in this production, anticipation has soared to new heights. Set against a backdrop of power and politics, the film is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.

And last but certainly not the least, fans eagerly await the highly anticipated second season of Paatal Lok, where Ahlawat’s portrayal in the inaugural season earned him widespread acclaim. He played the role of Hathi Ram Chaudhary and joining him are Ishwak Singh and Tillotama Shome, who are expected to take the story ahead in this new season. The show is created by Sudip Sharma and directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware.

In addition to these exciting projects, Ahlawat is also busy with the filming of Jewel Thief where he shares the screen with the charismatic Saif Ali Khan. This thrilling venture, directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Siddharth Anand under the banner, Marflix Pictures. It is currently underway in Mumbai and has an international shoot scheduled for May.
