Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan made his big debut alongside Genelia D’Souza in the romantic comedy Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of not just the actor’s career but went on to acquire the cult status in Bollywood. Imran, however, decided to take an infinite sabbatical from the industry post the release of Katti Batti in 2015. While the actor has not yet made any announcement about his return, fans of Khan have been requesting him to do so. And now a photo of him with his first co-actor Genelia have left them wondering if something is brewing!

A social media user posted a photo featuring Genelia D’Souza and Imran Khan saying ‘Always lovely to meet these two’ on Instagram which has garnered ample attention on the platform. Going by Imran’s look in the picture, it seems it is from recent years, and it seems to have sparked an interesting conversation among fans who are eagerly awaiting the return of the I Hate Luv Storys actor. While Imran dropped a smiling emoji, many fans showered their love on the picture.

Bollywood movie buffs would be aware that the beautiful chemistry between newbies Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza played a key role in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na becoming one of the biggest crowd pullers. When the picture later found its way on Reddit, many of them expressed their love for their romantic comedy, some of them even commented that they would love to see them work together again.

Genelia D’Souza, who too was away from the industry after the birth of her two sons, marked her return recently and received a lot of love for her portrayal as Shravani in the bilingual Ved which also featured her husband Riteish Deshmukh as the leading man. On the other hand, although Imran Khan has expressed his interest in direction, fans are awaiting an official announcement about his return in films.
