presenting the much awaited second part of Jacqueline's interview with Satish Sundaresan of Bollywood Hungama. Read it and get ready to be

Jacqueline, what was the brief given to you by the Race 2's directors? And what convinced you to sign the dotted lines?

From the time they were making the sequel of Race, I always wanted to be a part of this film. The fact that they had already zeroed on the cast film saddened

me. But, when I got a call from the makers, I just couldn't believe my eyes and ears that I am a part of Race 2!

Let's talk some action now. Is it true that you prepared for three whole months for your action scenes?

It's true that it took me three months to perfect action scenes, because besides fencing, my scenes also required me to do flips and other heavy duty stunts.

Peter Hynes (action co-ordinator) brought his assistants from Vietnam and we started training for fencing. I always looked at references in films and TV, as

I knew that the best way to 'learn' the art of fencing is by 'imitating'!

How many times did you see Race to get into the mood of Race 2?

I saw the film twice. The first time was when it got released and the second time when we were shooting for the film (Race 2). But not even once did I

used this film as a reference point for my character. The same applies to Murder 2 and Housefull 2, because I always want to bring something

new to the table.

The tagline says that 'Betrayal is survival'. Has anyone, in real life betrayed you or ditched you?

(Pauses) Hmmmm... We all go through betrayal and ditches. I really believe in moving on, forgetting and forgiving and simply moving on.

This season seems to be the year of sequels. Which are the sequels that you are eagerly looking for?

It has to be Dhoom 3. I can't tell you how eagerly I am waiting to see that film!

How comfortable are you in speaking and understanding Hindi by now?

I am comfortable enough to say my lines. And hopefully soon, I will be comfortable enough to give all my answers in Hindi (smiles)!

Unlike other heroines, you don't seem to be endorsing lots of brands. The last time you were seen in the Lux, but for Sri Lanka. Why nothing in India?

I endorse a lot of brands back home (Sri Lanka). I am very picky about the brand that I am endorsing. For me, it isn't like holding a brand and telling the

viewers "Hey! Pick this brand". I want to believe in the brand that I am endorsing.

News is that you have bought an island off the South Coast of Sri Lanka where you have the former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara as your neighbour.

Is this true?

The news is very much true. Purchasing a land in my own country was something that I had only dreamt of doing. And trust me; this was not at all a decided

step. What I mean is that I wasn't in the pursuit of buying this land at all. One day I was spending some time with my family when I got to know about this

property. That's when I decided to go ahead with this dream.

Your fans have been dying to see you on the silver screen. So, what are your forthcoming films?

Nothing has been signed on the dotted lines. I really need time to figure out my forthcoming films.

Buzz is that YRF had approached you for a 'look test' for their film. Is this news true? If yes, then, which film are we talking about?

Well, it's true that YRF had approached me for their film. But there were some problems with the dates. But, it would have been really wonderful to have been

working with them. And sorry pal... I am not allowed to say the name of the film!
