The title song of Ishq Vishk Rebound was launched today in a multiplex in Mumbai in the presence of actors Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grrewal along with singers Nikhita Gandhi and Mellow D, music director Rochak Kohli, producer Ramesh Taurani and others. As the title of the film suggests, it is a part of the Ishq Vishk franchise. The first part, released in 2003, was a musical success and made Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury household names. As expected, the first part was talked about at the event.

Ramesh Taurani opened up on launching four new talents with Ishq Vishk Rebound saying, “Even (with Ishq Vishk), all the four actors were debutants. Vishal Malhotra ki bhi pehli film thi. I feel that if the film is well made, your script is worth it and the music is spot-on, then people will come in hordes to watch your film in cinemas. The excitement level for Ishq Vishk Rebound will surely go up once we release the trailer and the other songs of the film.”

A journalist called Rohit Saraf as the chocolate boy and reminded that even Shahid Kapoor was a chocolate boy then. He was asked if he feels the pressure. Rohit replied, “More than pressure, there’s a lot of gratitude to the universe and the producers. I feel this is an opportunity that not many people get. I don’t want to dilute by putting pressure on myself.”

Rohit Saraf continued, “Sab log itna bolte hai ‘pressure, pressure’, I feel like I should start taking pressure! It’s not like Ishq Vishk Rebound is a remake of Ishq Vishk. It’s not a sequel to the first film. What’s common between the two films is that it belongs to the same franchise. But it’s a new story altogether. It’s a love story about Gen Z and what this generation goes through. Hence, it is exciting.”

He added, "Even in interviews, I am asked ‘Do you feel pressure’. I am going to think about it and maybe, from now, I’ll start feeling some amount of pressure (smiles).”

When asked if he interacted with Shahid Kapoor, Rohit Saraf stated, “I haven’t had the chance to speak with Shahid, but I’d love to. So, Shahid sir, if you are watching this, I am going to wait for the day when I get to speak with you because I just want to say, ‘thank you’!”
