Irshad Kamil on what working with Aanand L Rai, Imtiaz Ali, and A R Rahman feels like : Bollywood News

Irshad Kamil is the man who wrote songs like ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ (Tamasha), ‘Sadda Haq’ (Rockstar) and various other. The poet-lyricist has produced some of the great songs with Imitiaz Ali and AR Rahman. Irshad collaborated with the duo first time in the film Rockstar. The ace lyricist has also given a great contribution to the film Atrangi Re which will be released digitally on Disney+Hostar.

Last week an event was organised to launch the music album of Atrangi Re. During the event, the film's director Aanand L. Rai was present along with the star cast of the film Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. While Irshad Kamil and legendary composer AR Rahman were also present over there.

During the event, Irshad expressed his love and said what working with Imtiaz Ali, Aanand L. Rai and AR Rahman feel like. He said, "We recently celebrated 10 years of Rockstar. Yes. And we did quite a lot. The thing I really want to admit is whenever somebody comes like Aanand Ji or Imtiaz and we're working with Rahman Sir, for me, it's a little child going to a wonder world. Then when I start working, it feels that okay, this is a soul searching journey. And music is my guide. I am actually exploring myself."
