Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, recently got married to her long-time beau Nupur Shikhare. The duo, engaged since 2023, had a ceremony in Mumbai to sign official documentation this January 2024. Subsequently, the couple had a lavish wedding celebration in Udaipur, culminating in a heartfelt Christian ceremony. This was followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on Saturday night. Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare arrived in style along with Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Junaid Khan, Azad Rao Khan, Imran Khan, and Zayn Marie and Nupur's mother among others. Kiran Rao was missing due to health issues.
Several biggies were invited to the ceremony. Veteran legends Rekha, Saira Banu and Hema Malini were in attendance. Rekha draped in a resplendent kanjivaram saree and as always exuded timeless elegance. She met Hema Malini on the red carpet as they posed for the paparazzi. She exchanged a sweet kiss with Hema. Beyond the glamour and glitz, their long-time friendship was captured by the paparazzi.

In a rare moment, Saira Banu was in attendance at the reception as the veteran legend gracefully stood alongside Hema Malini and Rekha. Rekha and Saira’s longtime friendship was beautifully captured as they shared a heartfelt, tight embrace.

Amongst iconic names was Asha Parekh, who arrived in style and was greeted by Aamir Khan’s oldest son Junaid Khan. He held her hand and was seen escorting her to the venue.

Ira Khan is Aamir Khan's younger child with ex-wife Reena Dutta. On the work front, she made her directorial debut with Euripides' Medea, starring Hazel Keech in 2019.
