Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to begin their new life together as they vowed to make their Every Day Phenomenal today as they got married in a total Punjabi tam-jham at the plush Rockdale bungalow in Bandra. Love was in the air and their infectious chemistry apparent as they went through with the ceremony. We have all the inside details and pictures from the venue and let us assure that it one helluva GRAND affair complete with loads of masti. So it is safe to conclude that Sonam Kapoor – Anand Ahuja’s wedding was replete with fun, food and family. She wore Anuradha Vakil’s heavily encrusted bridal lehenga in a bright hue of crimson. Anand, on the other hand, wore a gold and beige sherwani with strings of uncut diamonds and pearls. Together, they made a handsome couple. They cut a custom made cake by Pooja Dhingra of Le15 which had an interesting take on Sonam’s marriage. Well, Anand, a Lakers fan, is on the ground and Sonam’s dressed as a bride is pulling him away. Interesting!
The highlight of the wedding was the high profile guests from the industry. While Sonam’s Veere girls Jacqueline Fernandez, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania were with her since her pre wedding festivities, Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived with her superstar swagger dressed in a breath-taking pink anarkali and was accompanied by hubby Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan who were twinning in matching pathanis. The main show stopper was everyone’s darling, Ranveer Singh who is related to Sonam from her mom’s side. He was dressed in all white and even sported matching shades. What did he do as soon as he entered the venue? Well, he jammed with his BFF Arjun Kapoor baba on Masakkali and even presented to us their version of the song. They then plonked a kiss on Anil’s cheek! What fun.
Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji too made a dazzling appearance at the shaadi. Rhea Kapoor looked like she was choking on emotions. Later, she took to Instagram to post a beautiful message for her sister. Harshvardhan Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor were totes active on Instagram giving us little details of the ongoings of the shaadi.
Cousins Anshula, Janhvi, Shanaya, Anshula were decked up in choicest finery and needless to say, were over the moon.
