While Diwali is still a week away, the festival fever has already begun in B-town. The Bollywood couple Ayushmann Khurrana and his filmmaker-author wife Tahira Kashyap decided to host a Diwali party for their fraternity friends and colleagues. Obviously, it was a star studded affair with many of Ayushmann’s co-stars like Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kriti Sanon, Kartik Aaryan, attending the bash. Amidst all the fun and frolic, the couple also gave us a glimpse of their home and the extensive Diwali decorations.

The living room of Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap looked all prepped up with ethnic cushion covers and extensive lighting adding to the festive mood, in contrast to their subtle beige colour furniture. There was also a quintessential taash-party aka card-party setup with floor seating as well as a separate space for photobooth and dancing.

Tahira Kashyap took to Instagram to share a video from the night saying, “Houses are nothing it’s the people who make it a home! Everyone brought in such amazing energy last night. The warmth and love we all felt was magical! I really wish everyone gets to celebrate Diwali with their favourite and loved ones. We were fortunate to celebrate it the same way???? #diwali #favouritefestival #vibes #diwalifeels Love and happiness to all??”

The couple shared a video from their Diwali bash which was a mashup of the evening that included sneak peek into the décor, dancing and all the fun shenanigans of the night. The video featured photographs of the night that saw Taapsee Pannu, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kriti Sanon, Sanya Malhotra, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, Kartik Aaryan, among others.

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Doctor G released earlier this week. The film features the actor in the role of a male gynaceologist who tries to make a name in a field dominated by women.
