Mallika Sherawat, who has been MIA for a long time, is now working on her next Hindi film titled Dirty Politics. However, for the past 10 days, she was seen walking the red carpet for various events at the Cannes Film Festival.
Bollywood Hungama came across this video of the Cannes special interview of Mallika with Variety's Steve Gaydos.
Funnily, in the interview, Ms Sherawat claims that she was the first Indian actress to kiss on screen and sport a bikini! Further she adds, "I made a conscious decision to divide my time between Los Angeles, and India. So, now when I experience that social freedom in America and when I go back to India which is so regressive for women... It's really depressing to see that as an independent woman."
