The makers of Ikkis have unveiled ‘Sajda’, the first romantic song from the film, giving audiences their first glimpse of the on-screen chemistry between debutants Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia. Released on December 29, the song has quickly drawn attention, as it marks the first visual showcase of the young pairing ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
‘Sajda’ offers a tender contrast to the otherwise intense backdrop of the biographical war drama. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Ikkis is a Hindi-language biographical war drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. The title of the film refers to the young officer’s age at the time of his death.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda, the film also features Dharmendra in his posthumous film appearance, along with Sikandar Kher and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles.
