This Republic Day, television audiences are set for a high-voltage action showdown as War 2 makes its World TV Premiere on Star Gold. Following its theatrical run, the film will air on Monday, January 26, at 7:30 PM, offering viewers a chance to watch the much-anticipated face-off between Hrithik Roshan and NTR from the comfort of their homes.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, War 2 continues the journey of Agent Kabir, played by Hrithik Roshan, as he takes on a new and complex mission against a formidable rival portrayed by NTR. The film expands the universe established in War, combining large-scale action with emotional stakes. Among its highlights is the song ‘Aavan Jaavan’, which showcases the dynamic between the two lead stars.
Speaking about the television premiere, Hrithik Roshan said, “War 2 takes Kabir’s journey to a much deeper and more intense space. Watch it on Star Gold on Republic Day, 26th January at 7:30 pm, with your families at home."
NTR, who joins the franchise with War 2, shared, “War 2 expands the world of the franchise with stronger action, deeper emotions, and engaging storytelling. A Yash Raj Films spokesperson emphasised the studio’s long-term vision for the franchise, while a Star Gold spokesperson confirmed the channel’s focus on bringing large-scale action films to a nationwide audience on significant occasions.
The World TV premiere of the film will air on Star Gold on Monday, January 26, at 7:30 PM, coinciding with Republic Day celebrations across the country.
