In an interview that has resurfaced after quite a while, Hrithik Roshan shed light on his character Aryan discussing his role in the blockbuster film Dhoom 2, and the intriguing motivations that guided him to take on a negative role.

"I don’t really see Aryan as negative; I see him on the wrong side of the law," Roshan explained. He went on to elaborate, "Aryan seems to be a guy who has this secret mission of freeing the world of all objects of desire that instil feelings of greed, create politics and feed the ego. According to him, these are the things that come in the way of truly caring about someone. So I don’t really see him as a villain. And his modus operandi is very unique because he does it with such a flair that really makes him out to be someone you want to be."

Roshan's decision to embrace the role of Aryan in Dhoom 2 not only showcases his versatility as an actor but also reflects a conscious choice to challenge traditional characterizations. By portraying a character with a morally ambiguous stance, he adds depth to the narrative and prompts viewers to question conventional notions of heroism and villain.

Coming to the professional front, Roshan is currently awaiting the release of his next film, Fighter. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it will also star Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. Besides this, he also has the sequel of War in his kitty, which will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji.
