Starring Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville, the spy thriller Citadel on Amazon Prime Video has received a great response. The show is a high-octane action drama with elements of suspense and romance shot amidst beautiful locales. While audiences across the globe seem to be reviewing the show, Hrithik Roshan also recently reviewed the web-series and couldn’t stop gushing about it.

Hrithik Roshan, who has collaborated with Priyanka Chopra Jonas for many films including Agneepath, Krrish 2 and Krrish 3, heaped praises for the series and was left impressed by the actress’ acting chops, and stunts sequences. Taking to his Instagram, Hrithik wrote, “Watching Priyanka in Citadel is such a fantastic surprise! Brilliant work! Also, an incredibly entertaining show! Excellent direction and screenplay. PC you have killed it this time, too good!! Very Proud.” Priyanka also reposted the same and thanked Roshan for his words of appreciation adding, "Thx my friend. <3 <3 @hrithikroshan".

Executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, the first four episodes are currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Citadel premiered on April 28 with a weekly release until May 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and many international languages, across 240 countries and territories.

Several spin-off series of Citadel are also expected to be in the pipeline with the makers creating a separate show in each country including India. The Indian version of the show will mark the OTT series debut of Varun Dhawan, who will be featuring alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the first time. Produced by Raj & DK, the web-series has already gone on floors.

As for Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the actress will be returning to Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar’s female-centric drama Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
