Superstar Salman Khan, who is currently gearing up for his Christmas release Tiger Zinda Hai, was recently spotted hanging out with the Fukrey boys. The reason behind the same we hear is because the Bollywood superstar decided to make an impromptu visit to the Fukrey Returns team who were in suburban Mumbai.
Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh were in the midst of the promotions of Fukrey Returns when Salman Khan left everyone surprised with his sudden visit at Mehboob studios. Fondly known as the ‘Fukra gang’, the cast was presenting one of the upcoming songs from their film ‘Tu Mera Bhai Nahi Hai’ and seeing Salman, the team decided to present the same to the superstar. Interestingly, Salman Khan is fondly known as ‘Bhaijaan’ in the industry with many fans even addressing him by the name when they come across the superstar.
The song ‘Tu Mera Bhai Nahi Hai’ is said to be an ode to the bromance between two friends and when Salman saw the song, it seems that the actor was left impressed. He even apparently gave thumbs up to the same and also praised the song saying, ‘Bahot Acche’ [very nice]. Besides this, the source also stated that the meeting was a tad bit longer since Khan also took some time out to have a chat with the cast of the film.
Fukrey which released in 2013 is now all set to take its story forward with the four friends namely Hunny, Choocha, Lali and Zafar in the second instalment titled Fukrey Returns. After four years, the film will also see the return of Bholi Punjaban from prison whose re-entry in the lives of these four friends will create more drama and humour.
Co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment, Fukrey Returns is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and is set to release on December 8 this year.
