Here’s why Mayuri Deshmukh seeks her inspiration from the artists who are dedicated towards their craft and not the vanity

A creative person is accustomed to receiving appreciation and accolades from the masses for their art and the work that they do. Some stay detached from the transitory illusion of the deafeaning appraisal while some get engulfed into it. Actress Mayuri Deshmukh who's a true artist by nature, aspires to be an artist who's detached from the inconsequential vanity which has nowadays become a reason why people want to be a part of this profession.

She says, "Unfortunately, being seen or making an effort to be everywhere has taken precedence in the acting profession. I have always believed in my principles and have been in the favour of originality. I feel sad to see that people nowadays are more inclined towards the vanity which is supposed to be a connotation and not the entire purpose of you landing up here and art or the dedication for the craft is missing somewhere".

Ask her who inspires her as an artist to which she says, "There are many who inspire me, but moreover people who believe in simplicity despite of having everything in the world inspire me the most".

On the professional front, the actress who's the undisputed female superstar in the Marathi cinema is currently seen as Malini in the star plus hit show 'Imlie'.
