Celebrities have always been known to associate with social caused, but now with the planet under threat from plastic and pollution there has been an increase in the number of celebs who have lent their names to a social cause. The latest to join them is none other than the Queen actress Kangana Ranaut who had a rather unique message on World Environment Day.

In fact, posing with a plastic bag over her head Kangana posed for the cameras while saying, “On #WorldEnvironmentDay put on this Suffocation Mask over your face for merely 10 seconds to understand what we are doing to the next generation & pitch for banning single-use plastic.” Further talking about the dangers of plastic to the environment Kangana further added, "In 30 years, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. I urge everyone to ban single use plastic bags. I’m joining #RallyForRivers & @UNEnvironment in the fight against plastic pollution".

Back on the film front, Kangana Ranaut who was last seen in the film Simran is currently working on her next venture Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Post this she will commence work on the Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya.
