Last night was a glitzy affair, with many stars all dolled up descended on the red carpet in some of the most impressionable outfits, trying to make the best fashion statements. After all, it was night that celebrated trends at Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017. From A-list actresses to Gen Y stars, we saw many of them experimenting in varied attires and here’s a sneak peek into it.
Deepika Padukone:
Despite being caught up in the ongoing and much talked about Padmavati row, Deepika Padukone fearlessly decided to give it her best as she walked the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017. The actress sizzled in a glamorous red fishtail ball gown from Gauri and Nainika accompanied by diamond danglers from Tanishq jewellery. Styled by Shaleen Nanthani, the look was extremely apt for the moment.
Katrina Kaif:
On the other hand, Tiger Zinda Hai actress Katrina Kaif opted for a Jean Paul Gaultier unconventional thigh high slit gown. Sleek Hair, Outhouse earrings and matching black pumps completed her red carpet look. We surely are impressed with the actress’ choice!
Kareena Kapoor Khan:
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be celebrating the first birthday of her first born Taimur this month, has lost oodles of weight. And her recent red carpet appearance is a proof of it. For the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017, the actress chose a white Galia Lahav gown for the gala and we must say that the actress looked ethereal in it.
Alia Bhatt
This Gen Y star has rarely let down fashion critics and this time around too, she seems to make a great appearance. Going with her petite frame, the actress wore a tiered Needle & Thread gown sprinkled with floral prints around the neck and the waist. While soft side parted wavy look completed it, her choice of going non-blingy this time for a red carpet gets a thumbs up from us!
Sonam Kapoor
This B-town fashionista yet again manages to leave us awestruck. Sonam Kapoor looked like one of the Disney princess in this voluminous gold strapless gown [that clinched at the waist] from the house of Atelier Zuhra, Dubai. A matching golden hair band and hair tied up in a loose bun completed this resplendent look. Kudos to Rhea Kapoor for styling up yet another perfect red carpet look!
Kriti Sanon
Riding high on her recent hit Bareilly Ki Barfi, Kriti Sanon went fully glam for her the recently held Filmfare awards gala. Styled by Sukriti Grover, she chose a red intricately beaded gown designed by Zara Umigar and chose to pair it up with matching Minerali earrings.
Sridevi
While she yet again impressed critics with her last release Mom, Sridevi doesn’t lag behind even in the fashion department. As her daughter gets ready for a big Bollywood debut next year, Sridevi too doesn’t mind adding some glitz in her red carpet appearance as she wore a glitzy gown from ZIAD NAKAD Haute Couture Fall Winter 2017/18 Collection and coupled it up with blingy jewellery from Farah Khan Ali. Sleek hair do that seems to be a common preference of actresses at this gala and that seems to be a choice of Sridevi too this time.
Sonakshi Sinha
Although she was earlier criticized for her fashion choices, Sonakshi Sinha of late has time and again proved that she loves to experiment with her looks. Keeping up with her love for different couture, the actress this time went simple for the awards gala in Nupur Kanoi’s grey saree-wrap beaded dress. Styled by Mohit Rai, the Sinha girl decided to retain the simplicity with a layered neck piece and a leopard print clutch as accessories. Side swept hair do and simple make up rounded up her read carpet look.
Jacqueline Fernandez
Her best friend in Sonam Kapoor. It can be a co-incidence that these two actors who are really close buddies often take the fashion critics by a surprise and have also been applauded frequently for their trendsetting attires. Styled by Chandini Whabi, Jacqueline Fernandez this time around, wore an elegant strapless white tube gown with Shaan Muttathil taking care of the hair and make-up.
Bhumi Pednekar
Riding high on the success of two films back-to-back this year, namely, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan, Bhumi Pednekar is definitely on a roll. Looking as glamorous as ever, the actress chose a rather sexy outfit for the latest Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2017 in a low cut, slit, white Nikhil Thampi bodyfit gown. Red lips, minimal accessories from Renu Oberoi and Gehna Jewellers, the actress looked hot in this awards gala.
Vaani Kapoor
Bagging a new film with the iconic superstar Hrithik Roshan and Gen Y star Tiger Shroff, Vaani Kapoor is all set for YRF’s untitled next. The actress, who too made a grand appearance at the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2017 red carpet, chose a purple net gown for the evening with a thigh-high slit. She also opted for a minimal accessories and light make-up to round off her look for the evening.
Yami Gautam
Although we haven’t seen much of Yami Gautam after Kaabil, the actress was recently seen at the Filmfare style awards gala and she dazzled in a black beaded gown from Zara Umrigar. Smoky eyes, minimal accessories and hair tied up rounded off her look for the event.
Nidhhi Agerwal
Busy with her South projects, Nidhhi Agerwal took some time out to attend the glitzy Bollywood evening in an Arushi couture gown. Messy hair, diamond choker rounded off her look. However, we don’t seem to be impressed by the actress’ choice for the evening. May be adding a tad bit of bling in accessories or a different hair style would have added some more glamorous touch for the event.
Huma Qureshi
Gearing up for her big film this year opposite none other than South megastar Rajinikanth, Huma Qureshi was spotted at the recently held Filmfare awards gala that celebrates fashion and style. Opting for a green Monsoori gown, the actress went for a no jewellery look for the awards’ evening.
Neha Dhupia
With his recent role in Tumhari Sulu being applauded, Neha Dhupia is on cloud nine. The actress, who is also known for her fashion statements, decided to make another one at the style awards. Spotted in a Gaurav Gupta monochrome gown and a choker by Farah Khan Ali, Neha once again left fashion critics impressed as she sported a bun with her elegant look.
Diana Penty
Back to Bollywood, Cocktail actress Diana Penty impressed everyone in her black beauty avatar at the Filmfare Style awards. Glamming it up in an Alpana Neeraj creation and diamond earrings by Harsh Sagar, Diana walked the red carpet looking as stunning as ever.
Pooja Hegde
Looking like a delicate princess, Pooja Hegde sashayed the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour and Style awards in a floral Charbel Karam gown and accessorized it with jewellery by Jet Gems.
Saiyami Kher
Wearing a ruffled black strapless gown from Amit Aggarwal couture, Mirzya actress Saiyami Kher flaunted her stylish side at the recently held awards gala that acknowledges fashion trends. Also sporting accessories by Misho designs, the actress was styled by Ami Patel, Sanjay Kumar and Miloni Shah for the glam night.
Daisy Shah
After bagging Race 3 recently, we have spotted Daisy Shah yet again frequenting Bollywood events and her recent one was definitely one of the most talked about evenings in B-town considering that it was associated with Filmfare. Seen in a Anoli Shah designed purple gown, Daisy opted for a minimal accessories and simple hairstyle for the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2017.
Rekha
Legendary yesteryear diva Rekha who has time and again flaunted her love for sarees, this time looked beatific in a white embroidered saree. Shedding off her Kanjeevarams, we were more than happy to see this evergreen beauty in a different avatar at the awards gala this year.
