Here’s how Bollywood Hungama helped in reuniting Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in Ganapath : Bollywood News

Actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon set foot in Bollywood in the year 2014 with the action packed film Heropanti directed by Sabbir Khan. Now, seven years later the duo is all set to reunite on screen for another actioner titled Ganapath directed by Vikas Bahl.

However, Bollywood Hungama would like to take some credit in bringing back the duo together on screen. When Heropanti 2 was announced, fans wondered whether it would reunite the two actors. However, in October 2020, it was announced that Tara Sutaria will be seen opposite Tiger in the film. But back when the leading lady of the film was not announced, in April 2020, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Tiger Shroff was asked a fan question who wanted to know if Kriti will be cast with him in Heropanti 2.

Answering the same, Tiger said, "Right now, we don't even have a script that is locked. Once the script is locked we will definitely come to know and have a good idea of that. Right now, it is too early to say. I think she is also busy with her line up of films at the moment. We will have to see. I would love to work with Kriti again. She is too big of a star now to work with somebody like me."

Responding to what Tiger said, Kriti had tweeted, "Says the superstar who rarely does less than 100 cr on the box office ! Haha..wat rubbish Tiger! You say when & which film, and I'm ON! Anyways its been too long, so u better work with me soon!(sic)."

And now, 10 months after the interview with us, it has been officially announced that Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon will be sharing screen space in Ganapath. Set in a post-pandemic, dystopian era, it will portray a never-seen-before world. Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Vikas Bahl, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, the shoot begins mid this year.
