At the International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD) on Wednesday, inaugurated by Delhi’s CM Rekha Gupta, veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who was there to receive an award, surprised everyone by touching Hema Malini’s feet.
“This is what true values mean. Nandamuri Balakrishna bowed down Hema Malini, who once played his mother on screen. Positions may change… but values remain the same,” wrote someone on Twitter.
Hema ji played Gautami Balasri, Balakrishna’s character’s mother in the 2017 Krish-directorial Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Speaking on Nandamuri’s gesture, Hema ji said, “I don’t know about how he behaves with others. With me he is always polite and respectful.”
