Actor Gulshan Devaiah, known for his pivotal role in the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, recently opened up about the early days of the budding romance between Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone during the shooting of the film.

In a recent interview with Jist Townhall, Gulshan Devaiah reminisced about his time on the Ram-Leela set and revealed how he observed the affection growing between the two lead actors. Devaiah mentioned that initially, it was evident that Ranveer Singh was smitten by Deepika Padukone, but he had reservations about whether she felt the same way. Delving into this topic, Gulshan said, “I didn’t see the spark between them in the beginning. I think he was really into her. After around 25 days of the Mumbai schedule when we went to Udaipur, I was like, ‘What? When did this happen?’ I think he was really serious about her, but in my head, I was like, ‘Na, she isn’t falling for him.’ Sorry Ranveer. But they are together now.”

The actor was also asked if the chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika seen on screen in Ram-Leela was reflective of their real-life connection. To this, Gulshan responded, “They are professional actors. The real chemistry is not seen on screen. We can’t put that on screen.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe Singham Again, while individually, Deepika Padukone will be seen in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. On the other hand, Ranveer has signed Don 3 and reportedly Baiju Bawra.
