Govinda, who was a huge part of politics had recently quit his role and was looking for a comeback in the film industry. Calling his old friend David Dhawan to see if there were any projects for him, things went downhill after he heard the latter talking ill about him and saying that he should pick smaller roles to his secretary. Govinda has been trying to make it big in the industry and in his recent interview, he opened up about how he lost Rs. 16 crores in investments and how the industry conspired against him.

He said that he had made multiple investments in the last few years and has lost the amount mentioned above. Most of his films were stopped from releasing but he is more determined than ever to make 2021 his year. Speaking of how the people from the industry refused to help him, Govinda said that this is a classic case of ‘Apne bhi paraye hojaate hai jab kismat saath nahi deti’. The actor had recently appeared on music and dance reality shows where he got candid about his love life with his wife.

Being deliberately sidelined by the industry fellows was the major reason why he incurred financial losses in the past years.
