Ameesha Patel often revisits memories from her debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), which remains one of the defining milestones of her career. Just last month, the actress recalled the early days of the film in a birthday post for filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. She shared pictures from the day after she signed the film, featuring herself with Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan. In the post, she mentioned how they had celebrated by opening champagne at her South Mumbai home.

Wishing Rakesh Roshan on his birthday, Ameesha wrote, “@rakesh_roshan9 — these are pictures from my home in South Mumbai the day after I signed Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and we opened champagne to celebrate before starting our shoot schedule!! (sic).”
