Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel recently stirred headlines by admitting she harbours a long-standing crush on Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and that she wouldn’t mind a one-night stand with him. The revelation came during a candid appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, where she spoke at length about her admiration for the “Top Gun” actor.
On the podcast, Ameesha said, “I have a crush on Tom Cruise. If you can do a podcast with him, then please invite me to that podcast. I’ve liked Tom Cruise since childhood. I had his picture on my pencil box, in my files, and the only poster in my room was of Tom Cruise. He has always been my crush. I always joke that he’s the only man for whom I could put aside my principles. I could do anything for him. If you ask me whether I could have a one-night stand with him, yes, I could.”
She further revealed that her fascination with Cruise is not new: she once had posters of him decorating her room and had expressed a desire to work alongside him. During the conversation, Ameesha also opened up about being open to marriage, stating, “I am all up for marriage, as long as I find someone worthy. They say that ‘Where there is a will, there is a way,’ so the person who finds me through everything and mauke par chauka maarlege will be my person. I still get all kinds of proposals from a lot of well-to-do families.”
Professionally, Ameesha Patel made a high-profile comeback in 2023 with Gadar 2, after a five-year hiatus. The film turned into a box office blockbuster. Her most recent appearance was in the 2024 movie Tauba Tera Jalwa. As of now, she has not announced her next project.
