Anupam Kher, who has not only been busy with projects in Hindi cinema but also in other languages and even web shows, is quite active on social media despite his hectic schedule. Recently he caught the attention of online users when he shared a rather unique photo featuring him alongside a host of millennial stars which included Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan.

In the post, Anupam Kher not only revealed that it is a throwback photo taken a few years ago but also opened up about how it reminds him of the 1968 comedy drama Padosan. The photo features Kher smiling but Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor are seen making quirky faces as the latter is seen pointing at a frame hanging on the wall featuring the iconic antagonist character of Dr. Dang, originally essayed by Kher himself in the 1986 film Karma.

Revealing about how the photo was clicked in Taj Palace, Dubai, Anupam Kher asked his followers to caption it while he also gave a brief about the same saying, “Caption this pic: I don’t know why this pic of #Ranveer #Varun and #Arjun taken few years back reminds me of the film #Padosan. May be the madness created here. Also don’t miss #Arjun ponting to the poster of #DrDang from the movie #Karma!”

The funny photo garnered a lot of love from fans. It seems that Ranveer Singh too came across this picture and couldn’t help but react to the same. He took to the post and dropped several hearts, folding hands, evil eye, heart-eye emojis to shower love on the photo.

On the work front, Anupam Kher is currently gearing up for the release of the Mohit Raina starrer web-series The Freelancer: Conclusion, which is based on the book ‘A Ticket to Syria’. This final part of the show is expected to release on Disney+ Hotstar in December 2023.
