Many Indian stars have been getting opportunities abroad. With leading ladies like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Nimrat Kaur and others have received a warm welcome in the West, British- Indian actress Amy Jackson too made her Hollywood debut last year.

FIRST LOOK: Amy Jackson suits up for Supergirl as Saturn Girl

Amy Jackson made her U.S. debut in Melissa Benoist’s superhero show, Supergirl. The British-born actress has a recurring role as Imra Ardeen, a.k.a Saturn Girl in the show. While she made her first appearance on November 20, 2017, episode, she was yet to suit up for the show and join forces with the already existing superheroes in the show.

Well, after the holiday hiatus, Supergirl is all set to return next week on January 15 with a bang with Legion of Superheroes centric episode. As Supergirl is several injured and unconscious, the Legion of Superheroes will take charge. Amy Jackson will finally be seen as Saturn Girl and the first look at her costume has been unveiled. In the latest official photographs, she is seen in her Legionnaire attire.

According to the comics, Saturn Girl is either in a red-and-white or magenta-and-white costume. On Supergirl, however, she is donning a black with magenta keeping the palette similar to Mon- El's look. But, her belt buckle depicts the ringed planet Saturn.

In the comics, Imra Ardeen, aka Saturn Girl is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes alongside Mon-El in the DC Comics. According to the official character description by CW, Saturn Girl uses her telekinetic ability to help those in need. She was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and arrives on Earth to help Supergirl battle one of her biggest threats. She was also the first female character to lead a super-team in comic book history.

On the professional, Amy Jackson will soon return to India after wrapping up Supergirl. The actress will be next seen in 2.0, the sequel to Robot starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. It is scheduled to release on April 14, 2018.
