After several years of courtship, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar tied the knot in an intimate ceremony this past weekend in Khandala in presence of their families and close friends. The newlywed couple took to their respective social media handles and shared dreamy photos from their romantic wedding ceremony.

In the pictures, Farhan looks charming in a black tuxedo; Shibani stuns in a gorgeous red and beige strapless gown with a veil. They shared their first dance and kiss on the floor amidst the cheers of their families and friends. Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Anusha Dandekar, Ritesh Sidhwani were seen in the photos.

Sharing the first glimpses on social media, Farhan wrote, “A few days ago, @shibanidandekar & I celebrated our union and we are deeply grateful to all those who did respect our need for privacy on the day. The celebration however, is incomplete without sharing some precious moments with you and seeking your blessings as we begin our journey across the skies of time, together. With love from us to you."

Several videos after the wedding went viral on social media especially that of Farhan Akhtar dancing with Hrithik Roshan on Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara song 'Senorita'. Farah Khan was also seen dancing along with them. Zoya Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, and Javed Akhtar also had a blast on the dance floor.
