Now, over a decade later, the renowned choreographer-turned-director has shared intriguing insights into how she managed to assemble this star-studded ensemble during a candid conversation with Maniesh Paul on his podcast.

During the podcast, Farah Khan disclosed her initial hopes of having legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan join the star-studded lineup for ‘Deewangi Deewangi’. However, her efforts to bring them on board encountered unexpected obstacles. Farah Khan explained, “We called a lot of stars who eventually did not come. Amit ji [Amitabh Bachchan] could not come. Abhishek and Aishwarya were getting married that week, so he couldn't come.”

As for Aamir Khan, known as Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist, Farah Khan shared a rather amusing anecdote. She revealed, “Aamir's was the funniest. He kept me hanging and, in the end, he gave me the reason that he was editing Taare Zameen Par. I said, ‘Just come, I will get it done in two hours.’”

In 2007, the romantic fantasy movie Om Shanti Om made its debut under the directorship of Farah Khan and the production of Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. This film not only marked the Bollywood entry of Deepika Padukone alongside Shah Rukh Khan but also featured a talented ensemble cast, including Kirron Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Arjun Rampal, Yuvika Chaudhary, and more.
