Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently offered a glimpse into the inspiring journey of celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker during a visit to his sprawling farmhouse featured in her latest vlog.
In the video, Farah not only showcased Gowariker’s beautiful farmhouse but also shared stories about his early struggles in the film industry. Recalling how he worked his way up, she spoke about a time when the photographer didn’t even have a home of his own and found support from actor Salman Khan and his family.
Farah said, “There was a time when Avinash didn’t have a home to live. I am very proud of him. When he didn’t have a house, he lived for three years in Salman Khan’s home in Sohail Khan’s room.”
However, Gowariker playfully disagreed with Farah about the exact duration of his stay. While acknowledging that he did stay at Salman Khan’s home, he joked about the timeline.
He said, “The time is a controversy. I stayed at Salman’s home, but whether I lived there for three months or three years…”
The vlog also highlights Gowariker’s incredible journey from struggling to establish himself in the industry to becoming one of Bollywood’s most sought-after photographers. Today, he is known for shooting some of the biggest stars in the film industry and working on major celebrity campaigns and magazine covers.
