Cinemas are celebrating Valentine’s Week with re-releases of several iconic films. The week-long festival starting 10th-16th February will screen iconic titles like Titanic (English), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Hindi), Tamasha (Hindi), Jab We Met (Hindi), Ticket to Paradise (English), Ved (Marathi), Geetha Govindam (Telugu), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Tamil), Hridayam (Malayalam), Googly (Kannada), Love Ni Bhavai (Gujarati) and many more. Many fans of Jab We Met flocked to the theatres to enjoy the epic romance of Aditya and Geet.
A video of the fans has gone viral on the internet where the entire theatre is grooving to the beats of ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ song. As the fans were dancing watching their favourite stars on the silver screen, Shahid Kapoor couldn’t help but admire the moment. “After almost 16yrs #JabWeMet in #ValentinesWeek is running housefull without any promotions in social media, speaks volume of a cult romantic comedy. @shahidkapoor bro do check reactions of public in theatre, u will love it,” a tweet read. Responding to it, Shahid wrote, “This is too special”.

The official logline reads, "Primarily based in Mumbai, Bathinda, and Shimla, Jab We Met tells the story of a feisty Punjabi girl, Geet Dhillon, who is sent off track when she bumps into a depressed Mumbai businessman, Aditya Kashyap, on an overnight train to Delhi. While attempting to get him back on board when he alights at a station stop, both are left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Having walked out of his corporate business after being dumped by his girlfriend, Aditya has no destination in mind, until Geet forces him to accompany her back home to her family, and then on to elope with her secret boyfriend, Anshuman."
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is currently seen in Raj & DK series Farzi, marking it his OTT debut.
