EXCLUSIVE: Yami Gautam reveals she wants to enjoy the Allu Arjun’s Pushpa with her family on big screen : Bollywood News

Actress Yami Gautam was recently seen in Behzad Khambata’s A Thursday, along with Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni, Dimple Kapadia and Karanvir Sharma which was premiered on February 17, 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar recently shared on an interview with Bollywood Hungama that she wants to enjoy Allu Arjun’s Pushpa with her family on the full screen. Recently in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama Yami opened up revealing her thoughts on filmmakers adding content to fill gaps in a story line.

When asked, for her thoughts on the ‘O Antava’ song done by Samantha Prabhu in the movie Pushpa being inserted in the film due to public demand of public she responded, “Absolutely, we have done that like the example, certain films have certain requirement and we should enjoy it for that. I haven’t watched Pushpa yet but I am really looking forward and I want to watch it with my family on full screen and Samantha is looking amazing, she’s done such a good job and the whole idea whatever you do, just do it with the belief, that’s very important. Coming back to such genres or such films, I think audience understands the things well and they won’t require unnecessary things in the movies. They now talk about cinematography, background score, editing, directors, so they have a very strong opinion. You need to stick to your genre, like if you have an out and out family entertainer like action and it will still do well.”

Further talking about her personal experience Yami added, “When you make a film with right intention, it will go to audience with that intention. I have been part of films where it was same scenario like this but it didn’t work for me, as she joined the industry with the intention that she wants to do films that are engaging and different roles, it has ups and downs but now I am at this level where I am comfortable being who I am & understanding & sticking to what I believe. When you start giving voice to your choices people accept you for what you are.”

On the film front, Yami Gautam is currently gearing up for her upcoming films which include the Oh My God sequel, Lost and Tushar Jalota’s Dasvi along with Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur.
