The fans always want to know the secret behind their favourite celebrities' fitness. The stars follow a certain routine when it comes to exercise, diet on a regular basis. So when Bollywood Hungama quizzed Emraan Hashmi about his fitness secrets, he had some amazing things to share.

Starting with his morning meals, Emraan Hashmi revealed that he kickstarts his day with bulletproof coffee. He said, "I have bulletproof coffee which is ghee and coconut oil mixed in coffee."

What do you have in breakfast, mid-day snacks, lunch, evening snacks and dinner?

Pretty much the same stuff every day. Even worse when I am travelling outdoors. I have Bhurji and I have bulletproof coffee which is ghee and coconut oil mixed in coffee. Then, for lunch, I have sabzi (vegetables), dal, roti. I don't have rice. And at night, I don't have rotis. I probably have chicken and some sabzi, dal, dahi.

How many hours do you sleep daily?

I try to get a minimum of 6 hours. Anything less than that, I get very cranky and cribby. Anything up to 8 hours.

Do you have short meals?

I used to have short meals earlier. The six meals a day thing. Now, I am following another diet. I kind of fast between meals. So, when you are having a lot of fats which is bulletproof coffee, you don't have to have so many meals. It keeps you full. So, maximum I will go upto four meals, sometimes three meals. That's about it.

Do you have fruits?

I stopped fruits. No. Because of sugar. If I eat fruits, I like mango. That's a one-time exception I make during the mango season. Strawberries. I love strawberries.

Do you eat seafood?

I do like seafood like fish.

Any favourite vegetables?

Brocolli.

Do you prefer vegetables cooked or in salad form?

Vegetables, I don't like them in salad form. I like them lightly tossed or sauteed, stir-fried. Not salad and not raw.

What about Ghee?

I have ghee with my coffee twice a day.

Are you a tea or coffee person?

I used to be a tea person and now I am a coffee person. I have two cups of coffee every day.

What about roti? Genhu roti, bajra?

I have jawar roti, not ata. I don't have gluten. I am allergic to gluten.

What do you have on your cheat days?

My cheat days are not anything epic. I think if I call for dessert it will be sugar-free, something made in jaggery sort of sweet. Even if it is pizza, it will be gluten-free pizza. So, on my cheat day, I will never go and eat crab lot of sweet and feeling like shit the next morning. I will never do that.

What sort of dessert do you prefer?

I like Ras malai. I like the Tiramisu.

Do you drink?

Occasionally. I have become more of a wine drinker. I prefer red wine.

Your favourite dish?

I love sushi, I love Thai food, I love crabs. Yeah, crabs are good.

Do you like fast food like pizza, fries?

No No No. If I eat pizza, it won't be the fast-food variety. It will be properly cooked gluten-free.
