Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film Doctor G, in which he portrayed the role of an aspiring orthodontist who is forced to take up gynaceology. Well, it is not surprising to see the actor in unconventional roles since he has been ruling the experimental genre in Bollywood for quite some time now. From being a sperm donor in Vicky Donor to playing a half-bald man with a low self-esteem in Bala, the actor has wowed the audiences in different avatars. Amidst many female fans who have swooned over his multiple characters, the actor recently spoke about the role that his wife, Tahira Kashyap loves. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann opened up about which character his wife adores.

The Rapid Fire round of Ayushmann Khurrana with Bollywood Hungama definitely had some interesting answers and revelations. During the same, the actor revealed about the performance that his wife Tahira Kashyap loved the most, “Article 15 and Andhadhun”. Both the films featured the actor in very different roles. Article 15 featured him in the role of a cop who investigates the rape and murder of two teenage village girls in an area where casteism is extremely rampant. On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana essayed the role of a blind piano player in who gets embroiled unwittingly in a murder case in Andhadhun. The crime thriller is a remake of a French short film titled L’Accordeur.

Coming to his projects, after Doctor G, Ayushmann Khurrana recently announced the sequel to the Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Dream Girl. Titled Dream Girl 2, the second instalment will feature Ananya Panday as his leading lady and this will be the first time where the two of them are paired together. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, it is produced by Ekta Kapoor and is slated to release on June 23, 2023.
