EXCLUSIVE: Taran Adarsh says he has high expectations from Varun Dhawan’s Bawaal; says, ‘The director Nitesh Tiwari is very capable” : Bollywood News

Varun Dhawan had a successful 2022 with Jugjugg Jeeyo and Bhediya. While he tried to diversify his performance on screen, he has an interesting line-up in 2023 starting with Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh is confident that Tiwari will bring out a different side to Dhawan in the movie.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Taran Adarsh said, “He did something different with Bhediya. So, let’s not underestimate him. But yes, I have high expectations from his upcoming movie Bawaal again because of the director. The director (Nitesh Tiwari) is a very capable director. He had made a film like Chhichhore which was a good and successful movie. He has directed several films prior to that. He is an ace director and writer. So I am confident that he will bring out a very different facet of Varun Dhawan which maybe we haven’t seen before on the big screen.”

Post their successful innings with Chhichhore (which bagged National Award for best Hindi feature film), Filmmakers Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari announced their next project, Bawaal, featuring Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor. Having kept the excitement intact with the constant progress of the film, the makers have announced the theatrical release date of the film, 6th October 2023.
