Shreya Dhanwanthary primarily works in the Hindi film and web series industry. Following her acting debut in Why Cheat India in 2019, where she shared the screen with Emraan Hashmi, she has done several memorable projects, notably The Family Man and Scam 1992. The actress recently chatted with Bollywood Hungama and did a segment answering some of her “firsts”.

Recalling her first audition, Shreya Dhanwanthary said, “In Bombay, it was for men's deo shoot where they didn't have the script for the girl. I'm not kidding. So I was there singing, 'I'm a man and I like girls'. Oh, God, it was very embarrassing. I think I cried.”

Talking about her first drink, she said, “Champagne, I don't drink but champagne as a result of some New Years thing and I puked.”

Her first celebrity meeting was with Amitabh Bachchan. "We were in Antilla. There was a 10-year celebration of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's work in the industry. And they were showcasing their designs through the years and I was wearing one of their designs. And Amitabh Bachchan was a showstopper. He and I had a conversation, which I'm sure he doesn't remember at all. But this, I will tell him, so let me tell this story to him first, then I will tell it to the world."
