There are multiple reasons why Pathaan went on to become a blockbuster such as Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback, Deepika Padukone’s never-seen-before avatar, and John Abraham playing the antagonist. However, very few noticed that the director-composer trio, Siddharth Anand and Vishal-Sheykhar, also played an important role in making the music album of the film an instant hit. The trio has collaborated on a bunch of projects. During an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vishal-Sheykhar shared some interesting anecdotes and revealed their friend Siddharth’s favourite word when he is disappointed during the making of Pathaan’s music album.

While recalling that there was a week-long phase when they refused to enter the studio, Vishal shared that they drank a lot of coffee to crack the music of Pathaan. Vishal added that they causally sat in a coffee shop and met numerous people including a bunch of actors.

Sheykhar continued and remembered how they use to request lyricist Kumaar to give something to them and it used to leave Siddharth disappointed. As Sheykhar said that the director dismissed their ideas by calling it “Bakwaas”, Vishal interrupted and said, “Bakwaas is not the word he used. But we leave that word out.” Upon this, Sheykhar said it was “Gobar”, which means cow dung. He concluded by saying, “He is gobar kind of guy.”

Meanwhile, Vishal jokingly added that he “is not saying that,” along with adding that “Gobar is still the polite version.” Elaborating further, Sheykhar asserted, “We are friends since 2003. We are at each other's homes having dinners or we are hanging out together. So, we are allowed to say whatever we want to say to each other.”
