As Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor gears up for the release of his upcoming romantic comedy, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, opposite Kriti Sanon, discussions during the film's promotion recently took a personal turn. Shahid, along with his co-star Kriti Sanon, delved into a conversation about the increasing reliance on Artificial Intelligence and technology, which prompted Shahid to reflect on a common source of contention in his own marriage with wife Mira Kapoor.

In a candid revelation to Bollywood Hungama, Shahid disclosed that a frequent bone of contention between him and Mira revolves around the issue of time spent on their phones. Shahid shared that Mira often voices her frustration about him not giving enough time to their relationship, even though she herself tends to be engrossed in her phone activities. Shahid elaborated, “I fight with Mira every time about this. She is like, ‘You never have time for me’. I am like, ‘Okay babe’ and I keep my phone down. Then I am waiting for her, and she is on her phone for 15 minutes.”

He further added, “After 15 minutes, she looks at me and is like, ‘What?’ I say, ‘Nothing, I have time for you.’ and she is like, ‘I have two more things to do, just one second, this is very important.’”

Shahid and Mira, who have been married for nearly nine years, share a strong bond as devoted partners and loving parents to their two children, daughter Misha and son Zain.

Talking about the film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is slated to release in theatres on February 9, 2024.
