Shahid Kapoor is all set and raring to go with his Kabir Singh movie. The trailer which was released this week generated a lot of buzz on social media. The masses appreciated the trailer and therefore there is a lot of curiosity for the movie which will release on June 21. Before the release of the movie, the actor gave an exclusive interview to Bollywood Hungama. He answered a lot of fan questions with regard to his movies, career choices, among other things.
One of the fans asked him why he takes time to do films and enquired if there is any particular reason why Shahid takes time in choosing his movies. Shahid said, “I don’t know. It takes time. I have done 28 films apparently, and I have been working for 16 years. That is almost like half a film a year. Maybe in the first 10 years of my career, I have done more films but I think you need time to change and mold yourself. If you are kind of an actor who wants to constantly discover himself, now from a commercial standpoint maybe you need to have more films in your graph but I don’t make that factor the most important thing in my decision making the process.”
He further explained how every superstar has a totally different graph. After citing examples of George Clooney, Brad Pitt he asserted that though some get success in the first 15 years of their career, others have to wait it out. Coming back to India he said that similar parallels could be drawn here.
