EXCLUSIVE: Ranveer Singh on his character in Jayeshbhai Jordaar- “His superpower is love” : Bollywood News

Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar has hit the theatres today. The actor takes on an interesting role this year with a satirical family drama. The film which deals with topic of female infanticide set in a village in Gujarat has opened to mixed reviews. The film also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles and is directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar.

Ahead of the release of the film, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer aka Jayeshbhai was asked what makes his character Jordaar. “Jayeshbhai ko Jordaar banati hai bas ek cheez woh hai love, pyaar aur woh pyaar ke liye kisi bhi hadd tak jaane ke liye taiyaar hai (Love makes Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He can go to any extent for love). His superpower is love and love is a superpower,” he answered.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a complete family entertainer and promises to present Ranveer in a completely new avatar.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next star in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Shankar's Anniyan remake.
