EXCLUSIVE: Pooja Hegde speaks on picking up projects starring A-list actors consistently; says, “It’s happening by default but by choice also”, watch : Bollywood News

Pooja Hegde has quickly risen to fame in the Indian film industry, with a career spanning just a few years. The actress has already made a name for herself in Telugu and Tamil film industries, working with some of the biggest names; be it, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Ram Charan or Prabhas. In fact, she made her Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan and recently shared the screen space with megastar Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, we asked the actress to explain if she consciously picked up projects featuring A-listers or if it happened by default.

Hegde asserted, “It's happening by default but by choice also.” She further added, “At the same time it's films that I've liked so far and I've done so it's not just been like I'm only gonna do this or I'm only gonna do that I'm just going where I think it's the right weight for me to go.”

Before concluding, the Mohenja Daro actress said, “You'll see some announcements very soon which will surprise you and I'm trying something this year.” When asked to give more details of the “surprise”, Pooja politely declined and with a dose of laughter.

As the conversation progressed further, we again highlighted the “A-list” stars she has worked with and asked if there is any common thread between them. In her quick response, she said, “I think they're just all hard-working people because I've just realised that you can be as talented as you want, you can be everything but if you're not gonna show up and do the job, if you're not gonna put in that hard work it's not gonna happen.”

Speaking of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, helmed by Farhad Samji, the film was released on April 21. Meanwhile, Pooja has a bunch of projects in her kitty including SSMB 28, starring Mahesh Babu.
