EXCLUSIVE: “There is no reason to collaborate with Anurag Kashyap”- Ram Gopal Varma : Bollywood News

Ram Gopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap had worked together n the hit film Satya which gave Kahsyap his Bollywood break. However, now Varma says he has no reason to collaborate with Kashyap. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, RGV spoke about collaborating with Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap, with whom he had worked in Satya.

RGV feels that he can work with Manoj as he is an actor but does not have reason to do collaborate with Kashyap who is a writer and filmmaker himself. "Why would I work with Anurag. I don’t have any problem. Anurag has made a career for himself. He writes and directs. There is no reason for us to collaborate. No two people can actually see in the same way."

“So when you make (a film) for yourself, the question of collaboration doesn't arise, because I don't connect to Anurag's sensibilities at all, and neither does he to me. So there is no reason for us to collaborate because we are in a similar profession. Off course Manoj Bajpayee's case is different because it’s an actor and director here,” he added.

Meanwhile, RGV had stood up for Anurag last year when sexual misconduct allegations were leveled against him. “The @anuragkashyap72 i know is a highly sensitive and emotional person and I never ever saw or heard about him hurting anyone in all of the 20 years that I have known him ..So I frankly can’t picture what’s happening now,” he wrote on Twitter.
