Renowned lyricist Manoj Muntashir, known for his soulful penmanship, candidly admitted a lyrical echo between Animal's ‘Hua Main’ and Kabir Singh's ‘Kaise Hua.’ Recalling the song's genesis, Muntashir shared, "After Kabir Singh, this is my second film together with Bhushanji and Sandeep. I always say, 'Hua Main' begins where 'Kaise Hua' ends.

He vividly painted the scene of the song's inception, reminiscing, "I was called (by) T-series, which is my second home now. I was sitting with Pritam Da, Bhushan ji and Sandeep… On guitar Pritam Da started playing the tune, you can imagine the atmosphere there. But, I got stuck at the phrase ‘Hua Main,’ which they already had. Pritam Da, Bhushan ji and Sandeep asked me to not change it. But I was confused. How am I going to tell such a huge story with ‘Hua Main.’"

Muntashir then described his creative process, revealing, "I took the song with me home, spent some time with it. Listened to it multiple times. Majrooh Sultanpuri used to say, “The greatest way to write a good song is to listen to the tune 40 times, and by the 41st time, you won't need to write it, it will write itself. So I listened to it 40 times, and it came together. It's such a simple story.”
