Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif are back on the silver screen with the third installment of the Tiger franchise. With Aditya Chopra’s Tiger 3, they have reprised their iconic characters, super-agents Tiger and Zoya from the YRF Spy Universe. The film has collected over Rs. 188.25 crores at the box office so far. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Katrina talked about the success of the film, Maneesh Sharma coming on board as a director for the third installment and producer Aditya Chopra’s vision with the franchise.

When asked about Maneesh Sharma coming on board after Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar directed previous installments of the Tiger franchise, respectively, Katrina Kaif said, “I think Adi (Aditya Chopra) always has a very strong vision. As a producer, in all the years I've worked with him, you have that trust in him because you know how passionate he is about the story and his work. His work is worship; his work is his light, his life and you see that in everything he does. So when he collaborates with a director for a franchise, you know that he's coming from a place, he's thought it through and, there's a reason for it. I think what Maneesh brought, to this particular Tiger was a very new lens where everyone's characters were very well thought through and seen differently. The way Maneesh sees films the way he sees life, and the way he sees stories are very different. He has a unique take on it. I think it was that lens which gave it a slightly different perspective than perhaps any of the other films so far.”

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also stars Emraan Hashmi. It was released this Diwali, Sunday, November 12 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
