EXCLUSIVE: Kartik Aaryan on Shehzada- “There are a few changes; it will give you the feel of a completely different film” : Bollywood News

Actor Kartik Aaryan reinvented himself as an actor with his last release- Dhamaka. The film directed by Ram Madhvani saw Kartik essay the role of a news anchor who was tied between his conscience and his career. This is the first time the actor played a gray character and was lauded for his performance. Currently, the actor is shooting for Shehzada, the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. The actor will be reprising the role played by Allu Arjun in the original.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik spoke about the film which will be presenting him in a different avatar. “It just happened to be that all of us really liked the concept of it (Ala Vaikunthapurramloo). Rohit (Dhawan) has really given it his own spin. And then there are a few changes, which I should not be talking about also. But keeping the essence intact, it will give you the feel of a completely different film. So I’m just too excited about doing this film. It's something I've never done before, it will present me in a completely new avatar. I'll be doing action for the first time with this film and a lot of other stuff. So I'm really looking forward to it,” he said.

Kartik will be reuniting with Kriti Sanon for the film. The two had last worked together in the romantic drama Luka Chuppi. Talking about his experience working with Kriti, Kartik said, “Super! She's a talented actress and I've always loved her work even before I got the opportunity to work with her in Luka Chuppi. And when we started working on Luka Chuppi, we really bonded instantly during that time. Finally, with Shehzada we are again working together. So I'm really looking forward to more schedules. We just finished off two schedules of Shehzada and I had a lovely time shooting with her as usual. So I'm really looking forward to more schedules. I hope people like our pairing again in Shehzada.”
